HeartsApart.org was created to keep families connected while our military men and women are serving abroad. Through the efforts of our community's finest photographers, HeartsApart.org provides our soon to be deployed servicemen and women with pictures of their spouses and children. The photographs are printed on waterproof and durable bi-folded cards, which fit securely in their uniform pocket. HeartsApart.org believes that our military personnel deserve and need the memory of their families to carry them through the difficult times that lie ahead.

Even though our submission wasn't chosen as the top 20, I believe each finalist is deserving. I am truly taken back by Hearts Apart and find this to be very extroardinary and amazing. Absolutely incredible idea.
Good luck!

This truly is an amazing organization which works with a military family to make everything perfect. It helps more than people who have never spent months alone could understand!

Thank you HeartsApart for looking out for our military in a new and innovative way. Our son just joined the MARINES following his father's path. As a spouse and a mom of those who have served pictures are always worth a thousand words and brings that love one near to you when the heart is missing them. Keep up the fabulos work. Semper Fidelis.

This is a great organization helping those that give so much to our country and our world. We would not be who we are without the brave men and women who risk their lives everyday. Sometimes its the simplest things that bring the most joy, and a beautiful image of a loved one is the least we can do for our real-world heroes.

This is an amazing idea and creates wonderful memories for families, many of which would not be able to afford it on their own. Thanks Brett and everyone else involved for taking time out of your own busy schedules to "give back". You are all wonderful!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. To our military and their families who have to be separated, a picture is priceless.

What a great way to give back to our service men and women. As someone who served in Iraq, I can tell you that pictures of your loved ones is what keeps you going. Thank you for providing this service to our military.

I feel this is a good vote. The initial family photo is the start of a positive and supporting experience that continues on while abroad.. Sadly such situations can be short lived. Fortunately HeartsApart has that covered with the sending of photos of their loved ones while they remain away. Very supportive indeed. Our servicemen and women deserve no less. God bless our troops and families.

I feel passionately about this cause. I learned the other night in my MBA class that "Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care" and I really loved that. Men, women, children, we are all human and at our most basic core our hearts are all that matter~

This is a brilliant idea! I am so pleased that there are people who think about our soldiers in such a way. Compassion is hard to find these days! Way to go and good luck as the mission continues!

Thank you so much, I cried. Pictures really do mean everything to me when my husbands gone, besides a broken up phone call to hear his voice. This is a blessing to so many families. Again, thank you so much. Semper fi.

I like this idea. I am a Vietnam combat vet. We never had any of this stuff for us. Remember this condemn the war but never the warrior. These kids may very well pay the supreme price for freedom. Thanks for listening
